- Yes; it was sold as a commercial product several years ago. It runs
- BASIC and machine code progs. It does not emulate the BBC hardware
- in the way that the C64 or Spectrum emulators do, but it was a version
- of BBC basic (recoded in 68K assembler) with a built in 6502 simulator
- (BASIC ran at 7 times speed and MC at 0.9 times the speed of a real
- BBC B on a 7MHz A500) From what I remember it was a fairly good at running
- system legal software, but could not handle stuff that "banged the hardware"
- too much.
